2 cups fresh strawberries
2 tsp sugar
1 bottle sparkling wine
Directions
- Using a paring knife remove the stem and leaves and cut 4 of the strawberries in slices. Leave some leaves and stems on for garnish.
- Puree the remaining destemmed strawberries in a blender or food processor with the sugar. Strain the juice through a fine-mesh sieve. Add 3 tablespoons of juice to the bottom of each glass, and top with sparkling wine. Garnish with the strawberry slices and stemmed berries.
