As one of the original Rhone Rangers, he beganplanting varietals that included a number of vineyards dedicated to Syrah, Viognier, Marsanne, and Roussanne This is the 22nd vintage of Cashmere with its first offering being a one barrel donation to Hospice du Rhone. The blending of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre is practiced in many winemaking regions and especially well known in the Rhone Valley of France and in Australia. Each variety makes its own contribution to the blend and the result is delicious.
