I love quinoa and potato chips, so when I discovered Simply 7 Quinoa Chips at FRESH, I was instantly sold. This surprisingly flavorful and protein-packed bag of chips fulfills my requirements of a quality and wholesome snack.
Quinoa has been around for nearly 3,000 years, but the popularity caught on among us “healthy” foodies fairly recently. The quinoa craze has evolved from raw grain to an essential formula for salads, cookies or even breakfast, and many more are finding interest in quinoa-based merchandise.
The idea behind Simply 7 and the variety of snack chips that they offer is to give consumers the peace of mind of knowing and being able to pronounce the ingredients their products are made of. Each bagged product contains both natural and simple components, and shoppers would be able to identify each raw vegetable, fruit, grain or legume within the product. They derive from seven core standards that make up the company’s standpoint.
First, all Simply 7 products contain zero grams of trans fat and zero cholesterol, eliminating “the bad stuff.” Their products do not contain artificial colors or flavors, nor do they add strange products in your food such as additives or preservatives. They plainly believe that “If you can’t finish the bag before it goes bad, we are doing something wrong.”
The folks of Simply 7 use gluten-free ingredients to help minimize allergy symptoms, and they keep their products close to its original form. All-natural products define purity, and uncontaminated (pure) products are healthier and better for you. They also feel that you should be able to read an ingredient list and actually know what you are eating; Simply 7 does just that. Lastly, belief in the balance of health and taste is their seventh core standard, thus creating snacks that are deliciously wholesome.
Overall, I highly recommend Simply 7 Quinoa Chips for those in search of healthier snack options. My personal favorite, the Sour Cream and Onion flavored chips, is filled with such crispy zest that it seems almost unreal that this snack is oh-so natural! The freshness of its flavor makes it hard for me not to consume the entire bag in one sitting.
