Well and Good: Rainbow Light

I do my fair share of preaching the gospel of good food. I know how incredibly important it is for us to eat whole, less processed foods. There are so many health benefits that come from foods in their natural, unprocessed form.

But – I’m not perfect, and I sometimes don’t eat all my veggies. So, that’s why I thought it was important to have a multivitamin in my daily routine.

I choose Rainbow Light. Rainbow Light has created natural supplements that make a difference in the health and well-being of our customers while promoting sustainable practices for planetary health and contributing to the fight against global malnutrition.

Their supplements are, and have always been, based in nutritious whole foods. They carefully combine pure food and botanical extracts with nutrients to support all systems of the body at potencies appropriate for the specific health objective.

One of the most important ingredients in their line today is spirulina. Spirulina is a nutritional powerhouse derived from algae: sustainably grown, pure, with easily digestible cell walls. Spirulina is naturally rich in vegetarian protein, B vitamins, antioxidants and omegas. Spirulina forms part of the food base in every one of their multivitamin products, along with a customized blend of citrus bioflavonoids, kale, beet, ginger and other targeted super foods specific to each formula.

Yet another AMAZING thing about Rainbow Light is their commitment to making a difference in the lives of people in need. They began donating supplements as part of natural disaster and civil strife relief operations.

Since 1994, they have donated more than 24 million prenatal tablets worldwide, reaching an estimated 100,000 women, including programs in Haiti, Ivory Coast, Guatemala, Peru, Dominican Republic, Philippines and Kenya.

So next time you skip eating your veggies, don’t skip your vitamins.
