FRESH General Manager Steve Delello has an exciting vision for the store.

“I want FRESH to be the food destination that serves all of our customers’ needs. Our staff has superior knowledge and shares that knowledge with our customers and makes them comfortable with their purchases. We are going to get people excited about preparing meals with a myriad of ingredients that can’t be found elsewhere in the area.”

Steve is a man who wears many hats and is responsible for everything at FRESH, including merchandising, purchasing, staffing, community relations, and sales. As General Manager, his job is to work directly with each food director – non-perishable, perishable, and food service – to ensure that FRESH offers customers the best and freshest products along with the friendliest service around.

25 Years of experience
The grocery business is in the Delello genes – Steve’s father was in the business his entire life and retired as an executive with BI-LO Foods in South Carolina. Steve began his own career with Brookshire Grocery Company 25 years ago. He worked up the BGC ranks to manage Super 1 Foods as well as Brookshire’s stores in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas. And, he has been a Category Manager for the past 3 years.

Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and six children. He also has a love of golf and tennis. Steve earned his pilot’s license and dreams of giving part-time flying lessons after retirement.
